Bar BAUT is hiring!
Bar BAUT is the first permanent location of the ‘moving circus’ BAUT. The restaurant landed in the South of Amsterdam in 2020, after seven years of being a pop-up restaurant at Seven different places in the city. In the meantime, BAUT has established itself as a name in (and outside) Amsterdam and we have become an integral part of the hospitality industry. In addition to two restaurants (Bar BAUT and BAUT Oost), we participate in various festivals (including Taste, Bacchus, Terrassenfestival, De Amsterdamse Zomer, Het Amsterdamse Winterparadijs) and we organize our own events such as Oesterfest. As icing on the cake, we are the official culinary partner of the Johan Cruijff Arena this year. It’s not for nothing that our motto is ‘GASEROP!’, translated to: speed it up!
Bar BAUT has a small menu with intermediate dishes and a 3-, 4-, 5-course surprise Chef’s menu. Nothing too difficult, but certainly not too easy. Just good, the way food should be. Within a young – and slightly crazy – kitchen team you take responsibility for your section in the (open!) kitchen. A smooth collaboration between the front of house and the kitchen is very important. We are looking for a team player, someone who can keep calm during peak times.
